Introducing the Field Installed ARMOR KIT
HSS Field Armor Kits are for executive protection. Armored vehicles and armored cars help defend against attacks from handguns and assault rifles as well as shrapnel from grenades, mines, and improvised explosive devices or IEDs.
Unlike traditional armor, HSS Field Armor Kits:
- Installs in 4-6 hours, so armored vehicles can deploy faster
- Cost an estimated 1/3 less than traditional armoring packages, compared to factory built armored cars
- Can be installed in vehicles already deployed in hostile environments
- Completely demountable under several hours, should an alternate vehicle be required to become an armored vehicle, the armor kit can be removed from the decommissioned vehicle and re-used
- In disabled vehicles, HSS Field Armor Kits can be re-installed in like make / model units
